Live Video

A live video stream playing (muted) as a card. It accepts either:

  • a UniFi Protect share-livestream link (monitor.ui.com/…), or
  • your own HLS stream — an https link ending in .m3u8.

No stream is built in; the card appears once one is configured.

This card does not expand on tap — it plays in place.

Configure

Section titled “Configure”

Paste and preview your link at idlescreen.app/video-setup on your phone or desktop — it checks the stream actually plays, then gives you a short code to type into the board. Like the photo codes, it changes only this card.
