The Dow, Nasdaq and S&P out of the box, plus any tickers you add — each with a small sparkline and today’s change. The card shows as many as fit at its size and counts the rest in its corner.

When markets close

The time in the card’s header (“as of 11:41 AM”) is when the card last got quotes for the markets that are open. Quotes from closed markets don’t count toward it. A market reads as closed from about 15 minutes after its closing trade until its next open; crypto and other round-the-clock instruments count as open whenever they trade.

When some of your tickers are closed and others are still trading, each closed one shows CLOSED under its change. At the card’s shortest size, where each ticker sits on one line, there is no room for the label, and the header time is the only sign.

When every ticker you follow is closed, as over a weekend, the header says Closed instead of a time and the rows carry no label.

The ticker wall behind the tap uses the same header. When some tickers are closed and others are still trading, each closed tile shows CLOSED at the right end of its bottom line, after the company name (or, on an index tile, the index symbol). The tiles are labelled even when the card itself is at its shortest size. When every ticker is closed, the tiles carry no label.

Configure

Settings → Markets. Add and remove tickers, up to 20 — index symbols start with ^ (like ^DJI), and unknown symbols are rejected as you type. The three defaults are removable like anything else.
